Antony Maxom is Emotional and Peer Support Worker at the Positive Place where he has lead targeted groups for Black MSM and Gay Men. The Positive Place exists to respond to the specific needs of all people whose lives are affected by HIV and AIDS.  They are a registered charity that offers a range of support services to those who live in South London and who are affected by HIV. ImageBig Up
Big Up is the Black Gay men’s project at GMFA. Started by a group of Black Gay men in the late ‘90s, the group has been part of GMFA for the past seven years. With recent funding from the National Lottery, Big Up was re-launched in 2008 with a film screening as part of the Pride London festival. It now works with a group of dedicated volunteers to deliver projects supporting Black men in making healthy choices.

ImageKaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope is a monthly activities group for Black Gay and Bisexual men regardless of HIV status. Informal, relaxed, friendly and fun. Sessions include discussions, social events, workshops and film nights. It aims to provide educational/information based meetings and social events with a strong emphasis on the community element in a fun, relaxed, informal way.
